$$$$$ SIGN ON BONUS 4 DAY WORK WEEK We are looking to add a full-time Dental Hygienist to our dental family at Flower Mound Family Dentistry in Flower Mound, TX. We are on the search for someone passionate about what they do, wanting to work together with the Doctor & team to treat patients and promote good oral health practices. Our ideal candidate will love patients of all ages, have deep knowledge of relevant health & safety rules and a good eye for oral diseases & anomalies. RESPONSIBILITIES (not limited to) Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination Sterilize dental instruments properly Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis Clean and help protect patients’ teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride) Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques) Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures Take X-rays or dental impressions Maintain documentation and records on each patient Monitor supplies SKILLS – Proven experience as Dental Hygienist / willing to train new grads In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA) Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment Outstanding communication skills A patient and friendly personality Attention to detail Valid TX hygienist license BENEFITS Medical Insurance Vision Insurance Dental Coverage 401K 401K Match PTO Paid Holidays Life Insurance Continuing Education Opportunities We look forward to hearing from you!
