**Job Title: Lead Dental Assistant** **Location:** Conroe Dental Associates - 333 N Rivershire Dr Suite 280, Conroe, TX 77304 **Schedule:** Monday through Thursday, alternating weeks Tuesday to Friday We are looking for a lead dental assistant for our family-oriented dental practice. We are looking for someone to who has a great attitude, willing to learn, and be a team player! **Responsibilities:** - Provide chair-side assistance to the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring efficient and high-quality care. - Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the dental assisting team, including delegating tasks and ensuring adherence to protocols. - Train new dental assistants and provide ongoing guidance and support to existing team members. - Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and organizing orders as needed. - Take and develop dental X-rays, maintain accurate patient records, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. - Handle lab cases, including coordinating with dental laboratories, tracking case progress, and ensuring timely delivery of finished products. - Uphold infection control and sterilization protocols, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for patients and staff. - Collaborate effectively with other members of the dental team, including dentists, hygienists, and administrative staff, to provide comprehensive patient care. - Assist in treatment planning, including educating patients about their oral health conditions and discussing treatment options. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a dental assistant, with demonstrated proficiency in chair-side assisting and clinical operations. - Spanish speaking preferred. - Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail. - Proficiency in dental software and X-ray imaging systems. - Current CPR certification and knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA regulations. - Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and patients. - Experience in treatment planning and patient education preferred. **Benefits:** - Competitive salary, negotiable based on experience and qualifications. - 401k retirement plan with employer matching. - 5 days of paid time off (PTO) for vacation, sick leave, and personal days to start - Family-friendly work environment with a supportive team and positive culture.
