Seeking a dynamic and professional Dental Assistant to join our team! This position is full-time Monday- Thursday with excellent pay. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience and have excellent communication skills and social skills. The office uses state of the art materials, technology, and equipment. We adhere to clinical and ethical standards at the highest level and we put patients first Job Description: The duties of a dental assistant are among the most comprehensive and varied in the dental office. The dental assistant performs many tasks requiring both interpersonal and technical skills. Responsibilities may include Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures: Taking digital x-rays and CBCT. Asking about the patient's medical history and taking blood pressure and pulse Serving as an infection control officer, developing infection control protocol and preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment Helping patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment Providing patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures, such as the placement of a restoration (filling) Taking impressions of patients' teeth for study casts (models of teeth) Qualifications and Requirements • RDA Certificate • Open Dental software experience is a plus • Outstanding positive attitude and demeanor • Excellent customer service skills • Professionalism in all aspects of the job • Good grooming and professional image • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
