Description

Dental Sleep Solutions of Greenville & McKinney This is an exciting opportunity to join a new and growing office that specializes in Dental Sleep Medicine. Your job will primarily consist of managing patients with scheduling, insurance, and correspondence. Helping in the operatory may become a necessity as well, but dental skills are not needed. We are willing to train you on all of this, so experience is not required. Having medical office or dental office experience is a bonus. Having experience with medical insurance (not dental) is also a plus. Primary Job Duties 1. Meet practice production goals through strategic patient scheduling. 2. Receive all incoming calls and faxes for both sleep locations and respond accordingly. 3. Log all new patient referrals and patient calls or email requests on master sleep patient log. 4. Always keep sleep patient log current. 5. Manage all referrals & correspondence with other offices. 6. Network with referring practices, and with practices with referring potential to help grow the McKinney & Greenville DSM programs. 7. Forward patient insurance information for Verification of Benefits to 3rd party support. 8. Check that final VOB has been received from 3rd party support. 9. Ensure that all required information is received for Medicare patients prior to device delivery. 10. Update and Manage patient charts with demographic, insurance, and patient information, where needed. 11. Obtain all required paperwork for insurance claims, and ensure each claim meets all criteria for submission. 12. Create monthly financial reports, to track office collections and production. 13. Join the AADSM and stay current on DSM education. 14. Work at both Greenville and McKinney locations. 15. Review and help patients understand OAT financials, including insurance coverage. 16. Receive payment from patients and know what their balance is and amount owed for each visit. 17. Manage patient Insurance spreadsheet, log insurance status, keep this current. 18. Manage “Referring Offices” spreadsheet and keep this current. Secondary Skills 1. Be willing to learn basic clinical skills for Oral Appliance Therapy 2. Perform operatory and sterilization management of supplies and instruments, if needed. 3. Setup and reset rooms. 4. Be able to perform one on one patient consultations in person, or via online video calls. 5. Develop independent insurance billing capabilities.
