Position Overview: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dental Sterilization Technician. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and cleanliness of our practice by effectively managing the sterilization of dental instruments and equipment. Responsibilities: - Perform thorough sterilization of dental instruments and equipment according to established protocols and industry standards. - Monitor and maintain sterilization equipment, ensuring proper functionality and performance. - Organize and maintain inventory of sterilized instruments and supplies. - Collaborate with dental assistants and other team members to facilitate efficient workflow and instrument availability. - Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff. - Assist with other tasks and duties as needed to support the overall functioning of the dental practice. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting preferred. - Familiarity with dental instruments and sterilization techniques is a plus. - Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols. - Virginia X-Ray certification is required for this position. - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. - Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures. - Considers themselves to be extremely reliable and punctual Benefits: - Competitive salary commensurate with experience. - Benefits available after 90 days for medical insurance and 1 year for 401K/IRA. - Opportunities for professional development and advancement within the practice. - Positive and supportive work environment with a focus on teamwork and collaboration. - We provide parking passes for our staff.
