A large private practice in Flower Mound seeks a dental assistant to lead a team of six assistants and four doctors.  Our office is bustling and requires coordination to ensure patients have a wonderful experience and are seen on time. The lead assistant position handles directing patient flow in the office. We often refer to this as “air traffic control.” The office has fifteen operatories: seven for hygiene and eight for doctors. The lead assistant will orchestrate the day in the eight doctor ops. To say the least, we’re busy. :) This position is also responsible for delegating tasks to other assistants, such as handling lab cases, ordering supplies, stocking rooms, maintaining clinic cleanliness, maintaining equipment, and keeping sterilization humming along.
