We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health. Utilize medical imaging techniques to capture accurate diagnostic images. Assist in four-handed dentistry procedures, working closely with the dentist during treatments. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Maintain accurate patient records using OPENDENTAL software, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Apply knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology to assist in diagnosing and treating dental conditions. Collaborate with other dental office staff to ensure a smooth workflow within the clinic. Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies. Qualifications Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Proficiency in medical coding and assisting within a dental office environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and dental procedures. Experience with OPENDENTAL software is highly desirable. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient confidentiality. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is an advantage but not mandatory.
