Manager, Corporate & Executive Recruiting – Talent Acquisition

As a member of the Talent Acquisition Leadership Team, the Manager will cultivate partnerships with department leaders to understand their talent needs and develop the necessary workforce plans, in addition to assessing the need and feasibility of a corporate internship program. As part of the corporate recruiting initiative, this leader will oversee patient services recruitment and collaborate with the Patient Services division to monitor ongoing workforce planning projections and provide recommendations to enhance placement success. This role will also act as a key partner for the Accounting & Finance team to support corporate headcount budget reconciliation.
The Manager, Corporate & Executive Recruiting will lead the corporate recruiting team, ensuring skill mastery in the areas of client relations, candidate assessment, vetting and growing the staffing and search firm pipeline, evaluating supporting professional services firms, building world class systems and talent pools to reduce the need and demand for external agency support where applicable. This position also manages our call center recruiters.
Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role:
- Partner with Support Office leaders to provide efficient hiring processes and positive customer service.
- Build relationships with the contact center leadership team and collaborating closely on call center targets, hiring processes, and onsite Career Events.
- Manage requisition load for Support Office openings, focusing on Manager-level and above roles.
- Develop relationships with external search firms across various specialty areas.
- Manage vendor relationships with all external agency partners.
- Identify and create a list of agency partnerships with search firms nationwide to support needs across the Support Office as required.
- Develop internal versus external search protocols to determine when to utilize search firms and when to conduct an in-house search.
- Establish aligned list of preferred search vendors with negotiated contracts.
- Partner with Total Rewards to ensure market data and collateral to source leadership talent.
- Collaborate with the Treasury/Legal teams to ensure effective communication/ administration of our LTI program, post-hire.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of recruiters to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
- Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and provide ongoing feedback and performance reviews.
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Communications, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years managing a team of recruiters
- Minimum of 3 years' experience recruiting professional/executive level positions
- A proven record of excelling in a fast-paced metric-driven environment
- Refined public speaking skills
- Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook Excel, PowerPoint and CRM
- Ability to travel up to 20% for meetings, trainings, conferences
Desired requirements:
- Master’s degree in Business, Management, or Human Resources or related field
- Located near one of Heartland’s Corporate offices: Effingham, St Louis, Indianapolis
- Experience recruiting leaderships within the healthcare space
