Position Overview: We are looking for a dependable and highly professional surgical assistant who is proficient in typing and clinical note-taking, and who enjoys interacting with patients in a calm, kind, and reassuring manner. The ideal candidate has experience assisting in periodontal or oral surgery procedures, or is eager and capable of learning advanced surgical assisting techniques. Key Responsibilities: Assist the periodontist during surgical and non-surgical procedures Accurately and efficiently take clinical notes and input treatment details using practice management software Maintain strict sterilization and infection control protocols Provide clear, compassionate communication to patients before, during, and after procedures Prepare operatory and surgical instruments prior to procedures Support administrative team as needed with documentation and charting Qualifications: Required: Proficient typing and note-taking skills Required: Kind, calm, and professional demeanor with excellent communication skills Required: Reliable, drama-free, team-oriented attitude Preferred: 1+ year of experience in periodontal or oral surgery assisting Dental assisting certification and radiology license Why Join Us?
