Description

Non-corporate oral surgery practice in McKinney, Texas seeks 1 or 2 licensed dental assistants who have some basic knowledge of oral surgery and implant related surgical services. Your initial duties will consist of sterilization, taking digital radiographs, restocking, giving post-op instructions and supporting the team lead and the doctor. Once this has become familiar, you will be incorporated into the direct patient care aspects, which include surgical assisting, patient monitoring, consultations and post-surgical care. If you have prior assistance, you should be capable of assuming additional responsibilities in a short period of time. If you are a new graduate or lack a surgical background, this will enable you to feel comfortable before being responsible for the duties of an oral surgery assistant. Pay is commensurate with experience and incremental adjustments will be made based on your progress during the first 90 days of employment. Benefits include a uniform allowance, profit sharing, CE and licensure reimbursement. An in-person interview is required for consideration.
