Key Responsibilities: Patient Preparation: Prepare patients for dental procedures, ensuring comfort and addressing any questions they may have. Chairside Assistance: Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary instruments, suction, and materials. Instrument Sterilization: Ensure all dental instruments are cleaned, sterilized, and properly organized for procedures. Impressions and X-rays: Take accurate dental impressions, digital scans, radiographs, and ensure high-quality images following all safety protocols. Room Setup and Cleanup: Prepare treatment rooms before each appointment and disinfect afterward, maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Inventory Management: Track and manage dental supplies to ensure the practice is always well-stocked. Patient Education: Provide patients with post-treatment care instructions and oral hygiene tips to promote optimal dental health. Record Keeping: Accurately document procedures, patient information, and treatment plans in our dental management software. Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant, ideally in a busy practice. California Dental Assistant license and certification in radiation safety (X-ray license). CPR certification. Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and sterilization techniques. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
