We are privately-owned, non-corporate and we have a strong emphasis on excellent customer service. Registered Dental Assisstant The position is full-time and will average 35-40 hours per week. We typically work 4-5 days a week, our office hours are Monday and Tuesday 9-5, Wednesday and Thursday 7-3, and Friday 9-2. Compensation for this role will be determined based on experience. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow through effective chairside assisting techniques. Prepare and sterilize instruments, adhering to aseptic techniques and maintaining a clean environment. Utilize dental terminology to communicate effectively with patients and staff, including bilingual interactions. Manage patient records and documentation using EMR systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Take and process X-rays, and assist in the application of dental treatments in general dentistry, oral surgery, and endodontics. Candidates should have the following qualifications/qualities: - Active RDA license - Positive and growth-oriented attitude - Ability to multi-task and detail-oriented - Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills - Experience in a dental setting is preferred - Bilingual is a plus! - Experience with Dexis & Open Dental is a plus!
