Description

We are currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our well-established dental practice. The ideal team member is dependable, calming, patient, and personable—someone who values building strong patient relationships, providing high-quality care, and working collaboratively with a dedicated and supportive team. Our office hours are Tuesday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, and we are offering the opportunity to work 3-4 days/week. Responsibilities: • Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations and treatments. • Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use. • Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. • Assist in patient charting and entering clinical notes • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. • Conduct medical imaging as required, including X-rays and other diagnostic tools. • Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for bothpatients and staff. • Manage inventory and order dental supplies. • Place temporary restorations. • Take dental impressions and pour up models. • Handle lab tasks such as packaging and sending out cases to dental labs when needed Experience Preference: • Experience with chair side 4-handed dentistry preferred. • General Dental Assisting experience is preferred. • OSHA and HIPAA understanding and ability to comply with office, state and dental board rules and regulations to ensure patient safety. • Ability to capture x-rays of diagnostic quality.
