Our practice is growing and currently looking for full-time dental assistants to add to our general dentistry and orthodontics team in Katy, Texas. Previous experience is desirable, but not a deal-breaker for applicants who possess a great attitude and a hunger to learn. Qualifications: - Minimum 1 year experience - A valid RDA license - A current CPR certification - An active X-ray License - OSHA & HIPPA compliant - Dentrix Experience Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist and specialists during surgical procedures - Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Take dental x-rays as well as Intraoral scanning - Prepare and maintain dental materials and supplies - Provide patient education on oral hygiene, pre-operative, and post-operative care - Perform dental charting and update patient medical records Schedule: - Our office is generally open Monday through Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM - We take a one-hour lunch break, typically between 12 – 1 PM - We occasionally work Saturdays (about once a month), but these are usually optional Benefits: - Salary commensurate with experience - On-the-job training - Paid Holidays - Employee Discount
