Overview John Kuhre, DDS is looking for a Dental Assistant in Coppell, Texas to be the lead assistant (and, currently, the sole assistant) in our clinical team. We focus on providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while working as a team. Position As the Lead Dental Assistant (and, currently, sole assistant) you are an integral part of our team in providing support to the office and directly assisting the dentist with treatment. Candidates must have significant prior dental assisting experience to be considered. Qualifications · Two + years prior dental assisting experience · Registered Dental Assistant · X-Ray certification · Nitrous Oxide certification highly recommended · Maintenance of annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR training Benefits · Competitive hourly pay · Full time: M-Th 8:45am-5:00pm, F 7:45am-12:30pm; every other Friday and Monday are off giving you two 4-day weekends/month, Lunch is for 1 hour from 1:00pm-2:00pm · Group Health and Vision Insurance with employer covering 50% · Support for continuing education and professional development Responsibilities · Position Overview: Lead Dental Assistant · Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentist during procedures · Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on post-treatment care · Radiography & Diagnostics: Take X-rays, assist with impressions, and make temporary crowns · Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations · Dental Equipment & Supplies: Ordering supplies; keeping Treatment, Hygiene, Sterilization, & Dental Laboratory Rooms stocked, organized, and functional How to Apply If you are a dedicated Dental Assistant looking to advance your career in a modern, patient-centered practice, we invite you to apply by submitting your resume/CV.
