The team works collaboratively to create healthy and beautiful smiles. Responsibilities Responsibilities include: Performing dental cleanings and procedures such as scaling and root planing. Conducting oral assessments. Taking X-rays. Applying preventive treatments. Educating patients on oral hygiene. Maintaining accurate record-keeping. Assisting the dentist. Maintaining a clean clinical environment. Administering local anesthetics if permitted. Placing subgingival medicaments for periodontal treatment. Providing post-procedure instructions. Qualifications Required qualifications: An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene. A current Texas RDH license. CPR/BLS Certification. 1-3 years of experience is preferred, but new graduates are welcome. Experience with laser, digital imaging, and electronic records is a plus. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, excellent communication skills, attention to detail regarding oral health issues, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a positive, team-oriented attitude are also important.
