We are a fast-paced, privately-owned pediatric office. The candidate should possess a self-motivated positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a desire to make each visit a pleasant environment for our patients.
At least 1 year of experience in pediatrics and an RDA are preferred, but not required.
Our office hours are Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and up to two Saturdays a month from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. If you work a Saturday, you have the day off for the preceding Wednesday.
Responsibilities:
• Provide outstanding customer service for the patient; excellent chair side manner
• Assist the doctor with all dental procedures
• Take radiographs of patients using digital dental radiographic equipment
• Perform efficient and accurate procedures to help maintain doctorsand#39; schedule and patient flow; create no patient wait time; maintain time flexibility for patient; be present, engaged, ready to work at all assigned shift times.
• Help clean the office and treatment rooms
• Review patient chart prior to doctor arrival and log appropriate patient data during exam and treatment as well as transcribe doctor notes in patient chart
• Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance
• Follow organizations safety policies and procedures
• Have knowledge and understanding of dental terminology sufficient to perform job successfully
• Verify patient health history (basic health review, medications, understanding impact with dentistry) and document appropriately in patients chart.
• Assist with other office duties as requested or needed
Qualifications:
• Prior RDA experience Preferred
• Recent Graduates are welcome to apply
• Dentrix experience is preferred
• Outstanding positive attitude and demeanor
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of all company policies and rules
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment

Prepare patients, sterilize and disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays, prepare materials and assist dentist during dental procedures
Take impressions, bite registrations and prepare the study casts (models of teeth)
Take and record medical and dental histories, vital signs and other notes as directed by the dentist
Any and all other duties assigned by doctor
REQUIRED SKILLS:
· Registered Dental Assistant license
· CPR, OSHA and HIPPA
· Nitrous Oxide Certification not required but is a plus
