We are seeking a Patient Coordinator who excels at helping patients understand their treatment options while managing financial arrangements with clarity and empathy. This dual role is critical to ensuring a seamless patient experience and supporting the practice’s operational success. Treatment Coordination: ○ Present treatment plans clearly and effectively, ensuring patients fully understand their options. ○ Uncover and document patients’ personal motivators to help them say 'YES' to their treatment. ○ Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless patient handoffs and workflows. ○ Maintain accurate patient records, including documentation of treatment plans and scheduled appointments. 2. Financial Coordination: ○ Verify insurance benefits and provide accurate financial estimates for treatment. ○ Discuss financial arrangements, including third-party financing options, with patients in a transparent and compassionate manner. ○ Manage insurance claims, follow up on denials, and ensure timely payments. ○ Oversee outstanding balances and contribute to maintaining a low accounts receivable balance. 3. Patient Engagement: ○ Build trust and rapport with patients to foster long-term relationships. ○ Educate patients on the value of their treatment and the connection between oral and systemic health. ○ Advocate for patients by troubleshooting insurance issues and providing solutions that fit their needs. ○ Provide an exceptional patient experience from entrance to exit as the first and last face they see. Requirements: ● Experience in dental treatment coordination and/or financial management preferred. ● Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Open Dental, Eaglesoft) and insurance portals. ● Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. ● Strong interpersonal and communication skills. ● A solution-minded, positive attitude with a commitment to patient care and teamwork.
