American Dental of Eastman is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Orthodontic Clinical Assistant with at least 2 years of experience to join our warm and welcoming family practice. If you enjoy working in a supportive, patient-focused environment and want to make a positive impact, we’d love to meet you!     Position Overview   As an Orthodontic Clinical Assistant at American Dental of Eastman, you will be a vital part of providing exceptional orthodontic care. You will assist our orthodontists during procedures, manage patient flow, and ensure a comfortable, reassuring experience for every patient. This is a hands-on clinical role ideal for someone with a solid background in orthodontics who thrives in a collaborative team setting.   Key Responsibilities        * Assist orthodontists during examinations and treatments      * Prepare patients for procedures and ensure their comfort      * Take and process digital X-rays, intraoral photos, and 3-D scans      * Change arch wires, place separators, and manage appliance placement/removal as directed      * Maintain and sterilize instruments and clinical areas      * Educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance care      * Accurately document patient information and treatment notes      * Monitor inventory and prepare clinical materials as needed      * Support front office staff with scheduling and patient communication when necessary     Qualifications        * Minimum of 2 years orthodontic clinical assistant experience required      * Completion of an accredited dental or orthodontic assisting program preferred      * State certification in dental radiology (if required by law)      * Strong communication and interpersonal skills      * Detail-oriented with excellent time management      * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team      * CPR/BLS certification a plus (training available post hire)     Work Environment        * Fast-paced family practice setting      * Primarily based in the dental treatment area with extended patient interaction      * Energetic, team-oriented atmosphere   What We Offer        * Competitive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance      * Paid Holidays and Paid Time Off (PTO)      * Flexible Spending Account (FSA)      * 401(k) Plan      * Learning Management System (LMS) for continued education and skill development      * Opportunities for career growth and advancement      * Supportive, family-oriented team culture Ready to bring your experience and passion to a trusted family practice in Eastman?
