Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team with various clinical and administrative tasks. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment. Experience is required. Responsibilities Assist the dentist with four handed dentistry during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Perform basic dental procedures such as taking X-rays, impressions, and assisting with 3D scanning. Manage patient scheduling, confirming appointments, and handling inquiries as a dental receptionist when needed. Intra-oral Dental Scanning experience - iTero Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care. Qualifications Previous experience as a Dental Assistant Knowledge of dental records management and Dental Proceedures. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality. Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix and Dexis Understanding of anatomy knowledge related to dentistry. Experience with dental coding is beneficial but not required. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. A commitment to providing compassionate patient care in a professional setting.
