We are looking for a Registered Dental Assistant to join our team 4 days a week. We are a busy, private family office in Pearland with one doctor and two hygienists who work to provide the best of care in a comfortable environment. We cultivate a hometown feeling in our office that keeps our patients coming back. We truly care about our patients, and we enjoy working as a team. Benefits: • Free dental care for you and your immediate family • 401(k) Matching • Positive work environment • Paid holidays Qualifications: • Valid, active RDA license, issued by the state of Texas • Experience with Open Dental is a plus • Sealant Placement, Nitrous Monitoring, Coronal Polishing Certifications (training available for the right candidate) • Proficiency in digital x-rays and charting • Experience maintaining a professional level of patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA compliance • Excellent communication skills, problem-solving, organization, and exceptional customer service skills • Ability to multitask well Responsibilities: • Welcome and prepare patients for dental exams, making them feel at ease • Take high-quality digital X-rays with precision • Assist our dentists during a variety of treatment procedures • Ensure a sterile, well-organized exam and treatment environment • Educate patients about treatment options and aftercare • Efficiency in polishing and sealant placement procedures • Manage patient appointments and care • Uphold stringent sterilization standards • Prepare patient charts and daily schedules for the dentist and hygienists • Foster a warm, engaging atmosphere for patients throughout their visit • Create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication and safety
