Description

Endodontic specialty office looking for a happy, reliable and upbeat assistant/sterile tech who takes initiative and is willing to learn. This is a full time position Mon-Fri. Previous experience a plus, but not necessary as long as you are willing to learn. X-ray certificate a must. We are looking for a long-term assistant to join our small dental family who is compassionate and patient-oriented, willing to perform expanded functions, understands cleanliness and that the patient experience is critical to our success. Hourly pay $19 - 22/hr depending on experience. Responsibilities: -Happily greet patients and escort them to the back for treatment or exam -Take dental x-rays and 3D CBCT images -Go over consent forms with patient and address any concerns with endodontist -Make sure patient is comfortable and ready for treatment -Assist endodontist with exam and treatment -Place temporary fillings -Recement temporary crowns -Place and remove rubber dam and clamp before and after treatment -Walk patient to the front after treatment, making sure they have needed paperwork -Clean, package and sterilize instruments adhering to infection control protocols -Clean and flip room for next patient adhering to infection control protocols -Set up operatories for patient care -Call patients as needed to follow-up after care -Cross-train in other office duties to keep space nice and welcoming, and to help maintain consistency in workflow -Answer phones as needed ***This is not an exhaustive list and assistants will be required to help where needed throughout the office to maintain a clean and helpful environment and promote a positive patient experience.
