We at Holistic Dental Centers are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, promoting oral health, and ensuring a comfortable experience for our patients. This position requires expertise in various dental practices and technologies, including familiarity with dental software systems and a strong understanding of infection control protocols. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments to maintain optimal oral health for patients. Conduct patient evaluations and review medical histories. Utilize dental terminology effectively while documenting patient care in electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Ensure a friendly and supportive environment for all patients. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of patient information. Implement aseptic techniques and infection control measures to maintain a safe clinical environment. Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient care and streamline office operations. Qualifications If you have a background in holistic dentistry as well as myofunctional therapy, that is a plus but not a deal breaker. Proven experience in a dental office or clinic setting, with familiarity in both general dentistry and pediatric dentistry preferred. Proficient in using dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for patient management and documentation review. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and dental terminology relevant to patient care. Experience with medical imaging techniques and documentation related to patient assessments. Ability to perform infection control procedures effectively, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
