Description

Key Responsibilities: Greeting and Welcoming Patients: Greet patients as they arrive, provide a warm and professional welcome. Verify patient information and update records as necessary. Scheduling and Coordination: Manage appointment scheduling, including scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling appointments. Coordinate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and minimal wait times. Communication: Answer phone calls and respond to emails promptly and professionally. Provide information to patients about services, procedures, and office policies. Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate patient records Process patient check-ins and check-outs, including collecting payments Handle administrative tasks such as managing office supplies, processing mail, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the reception area. Insurance and Billing: Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits. Patient Interaction: Address patient inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism. Provide patients with pre-appointment and post-appointment instructions as needed. Compliance and Confidentiality: Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other relevant privacy laws. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and practice records. Qualifications: BILINGUAL IS A PLUS Team player Experience using Open dental software a plus. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration or dental assisting is a plus. Proven experience as a receptionist, preferably in a dental or medical office setting. Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is advantageous. Proficiency in using office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite and dental practice management software Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and provide exceptional customer service. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods and perform tasks at a desk. Capability to lift and carry light office supplies. Office Hours Monday 9:00 am - 7:00 pm Tuesday- Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance
