Description

Cornerstone Dental Arts is looking for an addition to our family! This Dental assisting position will be assisting comprehensive dental care, surgery procedures with sedation and implant procedures. Two or more years' experience preferred. Must have a positive/flexible attitude and teamwork oriented. Applicant must possess a current Registered Dental Assistant license with x-ray and nitrous certification and active CPR training. Duties: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Take x-rays - Prepare materials for impressions and restorations - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Perform basic laboratory duties, such as pouring models and trimming trays - Maintain accurate and up-to-date dental records and documentation - Assist with dental coding and billing processes - Provide support in dentistry, including managing anxious patients - Experience with Cerec technology for digital impressions and restorations - OSHA/ HIPAA compliant - Teamwork oriented- help any team member that needs help during downtime. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a dental assisting program preferred - X-ray certification required; additional certifications such as CPR, coronal polishing, or sealant application are a plus - Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and materials - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals - Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills - Proficient in dental documentation and recordkeeping practices - Experience with Sedation Dentistry is a plus, always willing to train! Compensation negotiable dependent on experience.
