Description

We are seeking an experienced Dental Biller to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and experienced with dental insurance billing, claims, and patient account management. Responsibilities: Verify patients’ dental insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments Submit accurate and timely dental insurance claims (electronic and paper) Review and correct rejected or denied claims, and follow up until payment is received Post insurance and patient payments accurately to patient accounts Handle patient billing, statements, and outstanding balances Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim issues Maintain accurate patient records and confidentiality Work closely with front desk and clinical teams to ensure billing accuracy Provide excellent customer service to patients regarding their accounts and insurance questions Requirements: Knowledge of dental terminology, CDT codes, and insurance processes Familiarity with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, etc.) Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Spanish-speaking is a plus
