Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry, with experience in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery being highly desirable. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional patient care while adhering to the highest standards of dental practice and infection control. The Associate Dentist will work collaboratively with our team to ensure a positive experience for all patients. Responsibilities: -Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop tailored treatment plans. -Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental extractions. -Provide pediatric dentistry services with a focus on creating a comfortable environment for young patients. -Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. -Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. -Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols throughout all procedures. -Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment options and oral health education. -Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to deliver high-quality patient care. -Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices. Skills: -Proficiency in dental software such as Open Dental. -Strong understanding of dental terminology and medical terminology. -Experience in medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry. -Knowledge of anatomy as it relates to dental health. -Ability to perform root canal therapy and other endodontic procedures. -Familiarity with dental fabrication processes for prosthetics. -Excellent patient care skills with a focus on patient comfort and satisfaction. -Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in medical documentation. -Prior experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred but not mandatory.
