Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Front Desk Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team and ensuring a positive experience for our patients. Serving as a crucial communication link for both English- and Spanish-speaking patients. This position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in dental software systems, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care. Responsibilities Administrative tasks: Provide administrative assistance to the dental team, coordinate referrals to specialists, and handle basic accounting tasks Manage incoming and outgoing mail. Maintain office supplies Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Manage patient scheduling, including confirming appointments and handling cancellations. Conduct patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and updating records. Provide excellent patient service by addressing inquiries and ensuring comfort during visits. Assist with billing processes, including insurance verification and dental coding. Work with clinical staff to ensure a smooth flow of patient care and coordinate with insurance companies to process claims Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental office, including sterilization of instruments. Skills Communication: Clearly and effectively convey information to patients and staff. Multitasking: Handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Organizational Skills: Keep patient records and office files organized. Customer Service: Provide excellent service to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
