Burton Family Dental Jerome is a new, modern practice located in the Jerome Village area of Plain City and we are seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our expanding team. We are looking for team members who are passionate about patient care and who love the dental field. The Dental Hygienist will play a crucial role in providing hygiene services to our patients, educating patients on their treatment needs and maintaining their oral health. The Dental Hygienist must exhibit excellent customer service and professionalism to our patients and team members alike, while maintaining patient flow through the office. The ideal candidate will possess clear communication skills, great attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of dental terminology and insurance coding systems. We are excited to find a motivated individual who can apply their experience to help shape and influence the care of our patients. Responsibilities -Greet patients upon arrival and follow the established intake process for patient check-in -Record and maintain accurate patient records while adhering to HIPAA regulations -Take X-rays, complete perio charting and clinical notes -Perform routine prophylaxis cleaning or scaling and root planing as needed -Assist patients in understanding their treatment options -Collaborate with clinical staff to coordinate treatment plans effectively -Ensure the office environment is organized and welcoming for patients and staff alike -Monitor and maintain hygiene-related supplies and materials Requirements -Licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Ohio from an accredited program -3+ years of experience working in a similar dental practice role -Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times -Thorough understanding of Open Dental or equivalent practice management system -Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential for this role -Proficiency in dental terminology and private practice scheduling -Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment -Basic understanding of office computer software (Word, Excel, Google docs, etc.) Benefits -Retirement plan -Dental insurance -Paid holidays -Flexible schedule -Referral program About The Practice Burton Family Dental Jerome is owned by Dr. Hannah Burton DDS, a seasoned dentist who has practiced in the area for over 13 years.
