We seek a punctual, self-motivated, self-directed dental hygiene assistant who will appreciate our fun-loving, high quality, patient- and parent-centered pediatric practice. We seek a team player looking for long term employment. We prefer someone with dental assisting experience. An Ohio dental radiology certificate is REQUIRED. Excellent verbal, organizational, and computer skills are necessary. A good sense of humor is a plus - we like to have fun! This opening is for part time or full time. The office hours are Monday, Wednesday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Tuesday11:00 am to 6:30 pm and Friday 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. Duties include greeting and preparing patients for care, reviewing health histories with parents and patients, sterilizing and preparing instruments, turning over operatories, capturing quality digital radiographs on kids, assisting hygienists chairside for sealant placement, occasionally assisting the doctor chairside, applying fluoride varnish, and generally having a fun time! We are willing to be flexible on the number of days per week with the right candidate.
