Description

We are looking for a friendly dependable dental hygienist with great work ethics that can contribute to our office for a small privately owned general dentist. Our office hours are Monday through Thursday and one Friday per month. We use Practice Works and Kodak digital software. Responsibilities: - Perform dental hygiene procedures, including dental cleanings, scaling, and root planning - Take and develop dental x-rays - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide oral health instructions - Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft, Epic, Dentrix, or other dental software systems - Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment Experience: - Proficiency in using Eaglesoft, Epic, Dentrix, or other dental software systems - Knowledge of medical coding for dental procedures is preferred - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
