Description

Two days a week part-time dental hygienist position available. We offer competitive pay, earned PTO, quarterly medical reimbursement, and Simple IRA retirement plan after 1 year to all employees. Our hours are 8-5pm. We allow 60 minutes for recall. We use Dentrix, Dexis intraoral digital x-rays, Pearl AI, Kavo digital panoramic machine, and intraoral photos when indicated. Interested applicants should be proficient in using computer based charting for periodontal charting, creating re-care appointments, and entering treatment plans. Responsibilities Enter and update health history information including medications and allergies Sterilize dental instruments properly Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis Periodontal charting yearly Apply fluoride varnish Place Sealants Educate and instruct patients on oral hygiene practices Give instructions to patients after dental procedures Take digital X-rays or intraoral photos when indicated Maintain documentation and electronic charts on each patient Monitor supplies Schedule and follow-up for SC/RP patients Job Type: Part-time Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule Paid time off
