We have an immediate opening for an experienced Dental Hygienist at our fast growing privately owned office. Our team strives everyday to provide the highest quality dentistry with a large emphasis on customer service. We have an amazing team, great hours and fabulous patients. Our office is a true family-oriented office, seeing patients from all generations. As a hygienist at our office your daily work day would consist of standard hygiene practices while creating long lasting professional relationships with families from around the area. We deeply value and feel our dental hygiene team plays a critical roll in part of the success of our office over the years. You must have a current state license with a nitrous oxide permit and at least three years of professional experience. Please Note: Our office also uses all the latest technologies, it would be a plus if the applicant had experience with Dentrix Dental Software, taking digital x-rays with a Nomad/Cocoon, taking CBCT radiographs, intraoral pictures and intraoral scans with an iTero machine. Dental Hygienist Duties and Responsibilities: Gather patient information and health background Take x-rays (All Digital using Dexis Sensors and Nomad/Cocoon handheld units) when necessary Clean and polish teeth, scan for oral disease Fluoride varnish application and sealants Educate patient on oral hygiene habits to maintain good oral health Update patient records both Dental and Medical Sterilizing dental instruments and equipment Restock treatment areas when asked Recording detailed clinical notes Dental Hygienist Requirements and Qualifications: Associate degree or bachelor's degree in dental hygiene from an accredited program Current state license and x-ray certification Excellent understanding of dental hygiene procedures and products Knowledge of sterilization techniques Excellent communication skills Our office is located in a family-filled community and we see all ranges of ages from small toddlers to elderly adults.
