We are seeking a highly motivated, friendly, and professional dental assistant. Our practice is committed to delivering exceptional and comprehensive treatment with kindness and respect. Our friendly and patient-centered team is seeking someone with the following characteristics: -Hard worker and dependable -An outgoing personality that makes patients feel comfortable -Punctual and willing to learn new skills -Ability to work independently and also be a team player -Friendly, caring, positive attitude with both patients and fellow team members -Comfortable with computers Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: -Assisting doctor in exams, non-surgical and surgical treatment -Assisting in surgical procedures, including intravenous (IV) sedation -Perform sterilization procedures -Professionally greet patients and be comfortable carrying on conversation with patients -Assisting in exams with doctor by taking notes, entering date into electronic record -Taking x-rays, photos, and digital impressions as needed. -Keeping operatories, sterilization areas, and surgical equipment maintained and well stocked. Nuts and Bolts We are looking for someone who can work full time: Mon-Thurs 7:30-5. Our office is located in Knoxville near Papermill Drive Our office provides competitive pay ($20-30) based on experience. We offer medical insurance and a retirement plan. Candidate Requirements: -Two years experience -Certification in radiology, nitrous oxide monitoring -Current Dental Assistant License -CPR certified
