Dental assistant position open in a one-doctor, general dentistry private practice, established more than 30 years. This is NOT a corporate, DSO-type practice. Our patient base is mostly adult, with care provided in a friendly and casual modern office. We are looking for an experienced (one year minimum) chairside assistant with a caring, kind attitude. Position details: 30-35 hours per week, no evenings or weekends. Paid time off available after 6 months Bilingual-Spanish speaking required. Dependable and responsible. Familiarity with dental practice management software. Hourly pay based on experience, $18- $20 / hour. One year minimum experience as a dental assistant required. Position Requirements: Take digital x-rays - certification required. Eager to learn attitude. Charting experience. Good communication skills. Seat and prepare patients and participate in explanation of care. Assist chairside for a variety of general dentistry procedures. Sterilize instruments, disinfect and set-up equipment and operatories. Reliable transportation required.
