Description

Job Title: Dental Assistant Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting our dentists and providing exceptional dental care to our patients. You will contribute to a positive and welcoming atmosphere in our office, ensuring that patients receive top-notch care and leave with a smile. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about dental health and wants to make a difference in patients lives. Responsibilities: Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures by ensuring they are clean, well-stocked, and organized Assist the dentist during dental procedures by handing them instruments, materials, and equipment as required Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control guidelines Take and develop dental x-rays, as directed by the dentist Prepare and maintain dental materials, such as cements, amalgams, and impression materials Provide oral hygiene instructions to patients and educate them on post-operative care Take and record patient's medical and dental histories accurately Schedule and confirm appointments, and manage patient records Perform office management tasks, such as maintaining supplies and managing inventory Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assistant program is preferred Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role is a plus Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and sterilization methods X-ray certification is required Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care Knowledge of dental software and office management systems is an advantage Open Dental/ Dexis Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience Comprehensive benefits package (health insurance, dental coverage, retirement plan, etc.) Paid time off and holidays Professional development opportunities Positive and supportive work environment Opportunity for advancement within the dental practice If you are a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant looking to contribute your skills to a friendly and patient-focused dental practice, we would love to hear from you.
