Records Compliance: Maintain accurate digital patient charts, ensuring strict adherence to HIPAA and privacy regulations. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience: Most practices prefer 1–3 years of experience in dental administration or a high-volume customer service role. Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with practice management software such as Dentrix ASCEND. Terminology: Solid understanding of dental procedures and billing codes (e.g., CDT codes). Soft Skills: Strong empathy for nervous patients, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
