The Role We are seeking a Dental Hygienist who is patient-focused, clinically confident, and passionate about preventative care and patient education. This role is essential to maintaining our standard of excellence and helping patients achieve long-term oral health. You’ll work closely with the doctor and clinical team in a well-organized, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities -Perform thorough dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and preventative care -Take and review dental radiographs -Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and preventative strategies -Chart accurately and maintain detailed clinical notes -Identify periodontal disease and communicate findings clearly to the doctor and patient -Build trust and rapport with patients to create a comfortable, positive experience -Maintain infection control standards and follow OSHA guidelines -Collaborate with the front office and clinical team to keep the schedule running smoothly Requirements -Active New Jersey Dental Hygiene license -1+ year of clinical hygiene experience preferred -Strong knowledge of periodontal therapy and preventative care -Comfortable using dental software (Dentrix preferred, but willing to train) -Excellent communication and patient education skills -Professional, reliable, and team-oriented -Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required What We Offer -Competitive pay based on experience -Bonus opportunity tied to performance and patient care quality -Supportive, respectful, and organized work environment -Consistent schedule with a strong patient base -Opportunities for growth as the practice expands -A practice culture that values quality care, teamwork, and work-life balance How to Apply Apply with your resume and a short message about your hygiene experience and what you’re looking for in your next role.
