We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our 'Patient First' practice in Deer Park, Texas. In our office, every decision made, word spoken, and action taken prioritizes the patient's comfort, experience, and well-being above all else. Key Required Skills and Responsibilities: Proficient in chairside assisting, anticipating dentist needs and providing seamless support during procedures Experienced in packing retraction cord Skilled in fabricating and placing temporary crowns Certified and proficient in taking digital X-rays (including proper technique and safety protocols) Experienced with intraoral digital scanners for impressions Trained and competent in taking CBCT scans Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and sterilization procedures to maintain the highest standards of safety and cleanliness Proficient with computers, including strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word (for documentation, forms, and patient communication) Preferred Software Experience: Familiarity with Open Dental practice management software Experience using Dexis imaging software Ideal Candidate Experience (Highly Preferred): Hands-on experience assisting with a wide range of procedures, including: Fillings Crown and bridge preparations/restorations Root canals Extractions Implants Invisalign treatments ZOOM Whitening Coronal polishing Benefits Package: Paid Time Off (PTO) — Accrued based on hours worked, with generous allowance to support work-life balance Paid Holidays — Including major federal holidays to enjoy time with family and friends In-House Dental Benefits — Complimentary (free) in-house dental work for employees, covering preventive and many restorative services Family Dental Discounts — Significant discounts on in-house dental treatments for immediate family members We value team players who are compassionate, detail-oriented, reliable, and genuinely committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
