Experienced Dental Assistant – Surgical & General Practice We’re a privately owned, high-performing dental practice located in the Medical Center area of San Antonio, focused on advanced surgical care and exceptional patient experiences. Our team values professionalism, collaboration, and precision — no corporate bureaucracy, just excellent dentistry. This is not a hand-holding role. We’re looking for a dental assistant who runs their operatory with confidence, anticipates provider needs, and leads by example. You’ll assist independently with routine procedures, oral surgery, IV sedation, implants, and All-on-X cases, adapt to different provider styles, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. What We’re Looking For: • Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) licensed in the State of Texas with a current, active license in good standing • 3+ years of dental assisting experience, including surgical cases • Strong experience with oral surgery, implants, IV sedation, and complex procedures • Confident in chairside assisting, sterilization protocols, patient management, and lab cases • Eaglesoft experience is a plus (charting, scheduling, clinical workflows) • Proactive, DEPENDABLE, detail-oriented, and takes pride in their work • A true team player who supports coworkers, communicates well, and shows up prepared • X-ray/Radiology certification required • Nitrous Oxide Monitoring certification is a plus Compensation: We offer competitive pay based on experience, skills, and certifications.
