Job Title: Experienced Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) - Full Time Location: Joy Family Dental in Watauga, Texas Position Type: Full-Time (Monday-Thursday 8:30am - 5:15pm) Salary: $20 - $26/hour (Based on experience) Job Summary Joy Family Dental is a modern, privately owned, patient-focused dental practice and I am seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and proficient in four-handed dentistry, temporary crown fabrication, and digital scanning technology (Primescan). I am looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment to ensure the best patient experience. Key Responsibilities: Chairside Assisting: Provide expert four-handed dentistry support during fillings, crown/bridge preps & delivery, extractions, and root canals. Digital Scanning & Imaging: Take digital X-rays (FMX/PA/BWX) using sensors. Perform digital intraoral scans for crowns, bridges, and Clear Aligners. Temporary Crowns: Fabricate, adjust, and cement high-quality temporary crowns and bridges. Sterilization & Infection Control: Oversee the sterilization room, including decontaminating instruments, running autoclaves, and maintaining biological monitoring logs to meet OSHA standards. Organization & Clinical Flow: Prepare operatories for procedures, restock rooms, and ensure efficient patient flow between hygiene and restorative, report low inventory. ensure lab scripts are prepared and packaged with the appropriate impressions or digital impressions. Patient Care: Greet patients, review medical histories, and provide post-operative instructions. Reports to Lead Assistant. Takes direction from Lead RDA, Dr. Tamra Montroy & Dr. Aaron Paik. Qualifications Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) Texas license (Required). X-ray Certification (Required). Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a general dental practice. Proficiency with dental software (Dentrix Ascend). Nitrous Oxide Monitoring certification (Preferred). CPR/BLS Certification.
