Position Summary: We’re looking for a dedicated Full Time or Part Time Dental Assistant to join our team and play a key role in creating a smooth and enjoyable experience for our patients. From supporting clinical care to helping with administrative tasks, this position is vital to keeping our office running efficiently. You’ll be part of a supportive team, working together to provide unmatched customer service and care. Responsibilities: Greet and welcome patients to the office, ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for. Prepare patients for procedures, making their comfort a top priority. Set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed for treatments. Sterilize instruments and follow all health and safety regulations. Assist dentists using four-handed dentistry techniques. Perform lab tasks as directed. Provide clear oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions to patients and families. Keep treatment rooms clean, organized, and well-stocked. Deliver exceptional, 5-star customer service to each patient. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. Qualifications: Must have: X-Ray Certification and Coronal Polishing Certification (or willing to get coronal polishing certification soon after hire) Previous experience as a dental assistant, including chairside and sedation procedures, is preferred. Familiarity with dental instruments, sterilization processes, and health & safety standards. Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing . Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a warm, approachable demeanor is essential. Detail-oriented and well-organized. High school diploma required; dental assistant school graduation. Additional certifications, like coronal polishing and X-ray certification, help ensure you're fully prepared to excel on the clinical floor. Compensation and Benefits: Full Time ( 36-40 hours a week) or Flexible Part Time Hours Hourly Pay: . $20-24 dollars an hour based on experience but most importantly, attitude. Performance Bonuses: Earn an extra $2-5 per hour based on performance and ability to make patients smile.
