Led by Dr. Leo Yudkin, our practice specializes in endodontics, offering state-of-the-art treatments and personalized care to each patient. We are seeking a friendly and motivated dental assistant to join our growing team! Position Overview: We are looking for a Dental Assistant with entry to mid-level experience to assist our team in providing high-quality endodontic care. As a key member of our office, you’ll work closely with Dr. Yudkin and our staff to ensure patient comfort and assist with a variety of procedures. Key Responsibilities: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist in patient care Take dental radiographs (X-rays) using Carestream systems Provide chairside assistance during endodontic procedures Maintain accurate patient records and manage patient flow using PracticeWorks software Ensure a clean, organized work environment in compliance with OSHA and safety standards Sterilize and maintain dental equipment and instruments Support front office staff when necessary Qualifications: Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred but not required (entry-level to mid-level candidates encouraged to apply) Knowledge of dental instruments, radiography, and sterilization procedures Experience with PracticeWorks and Carestream software is a plus, but training can be provided Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with patients in a professional and compassionate manner Strong attention to detail and a desire to provide the best patient care A positive attitude and strong team player Education & Certifications: Dental Assistant certification (or in progress) preferred Current CPR certification required Radiology certification (if applicable)
