We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part-time basis. Key Responsibilities: As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in our practice by ensuring the highest standards of patient care and comfort. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: - Performing comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients, ensuring their oral health is maintained and improved. - Taking X-rays as needed, ensuring that all necessary documentation is accurately recorded. - Educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices and promoting preventative care. - Collaborating with our dedicated dental team, including the lead dentist, to develop personalized treatment plans for each patient. - Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the treatment rooms and equipment in compliance with health protocols. Qualifications: To succeed in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications: - A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred; however, we welcome applications from recent graduates who are eager to make a meaningful impact in dental health. - A valid state dental hygiene license and current CPR certification. - Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages. - A commitment to patient education and promoting preventive dental care. - A team-oriented approach with the ability to work independently. Working Conditions: Our practice believes in a patient-centric approach, allowing our dental hygienists to focus one-on-one with each patient. You will typically spend one hour with each patient, ensuring individualized attention and care. A one-hour lunch break is provided to support your well-being during your shifts. Compensation: We offer a competitive hourly rate of $50-55, commensurate with experience.
