Duties -Prepare treatment areas with the necessary instruments, materials, and supplies to facilitate efficient dental procedures. -Assist dentists chairside during treatments. -Take dental X-rays. -Manage patient records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems ensuring HIPAA compliance for patient confidentiality. -Perform vital signs assessments and monitor patient comfort throughout procedures. -Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and proper sterilization methods. -Keep accurate inventory records of supplies. -Operate advanced equipment like 3D scanners and assist with medical coding for accurate record keeping. -Educate patients on oral health practices and post-treatment care instructions to promote ongoing wellness.
