Position Overview We are seeking a versatile, detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator / Dental Assistant to join our team. This hybrid role combines front office responsibilities with chairside clinical support. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, clinically skilled, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Patient Care Coordinator Duties: • Greet and check in/check out patients in a professional and friendly manner • Schedule and confirm appointments • Verify insurance benefits • Process payments • Maintain accurate patient records • Coordinate patient communication, follow-ups, and recall systems Dental Assistant Duties: • Assist the dentist chairside during procedures • Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories • Take digital radiographs (as permitted by state regulations) • Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment • Provide post-operative instructions • Maintain compliance with OSHA and infection control standard Qualifications • Dental assisting certification (if required by state) • X-ray certification (if required by state) • Previous dental front office experience preferred • Knowledge of dental software (e.g., Dentrix) • Strong communication and organizational skills • Ability to multitask and work collaboratively • Positive attitude and strong work ethic What We Offer • Competitive pay • Health benefits • Paid time off • Continuing education opportunities • Supportive and team-oriented environment
