We are seeking an experienced Dental Scheduling Coordinator who understands how to engineer a productive schedule, present financial options confidently, and create a five-star patient experience. What You’ll Be Responsible For Engineering and optimizing the appointment book for maximum productivity Patient scheduling and recall/recare management Insurance verification and accounts receivable support Presenting and explaining financial treatment plans Managing patient records in Open Dental Maintaining an organized, professional front office Supporting patient communication and retention initiatives Required Experience Minimum 2 years dental front office experience Minimum 3 years total experience in the dental field Experience with Open Dental (preferred) Strong knowledge of insurance verification and treatment plan presentation Experience managing recall systems and unscheduled treatment follow-up Accurate data entry and documentation skills Ideal Candidate Positive, professional, and patient-centered Detail-oriented and highly organized Strong conflict resolution and communication skills Comfortable discussing finances with clarity and confidence Proactive and solutions-focused Committed to accountability and continuous improvement Bonus Structure Monthly performance bonus tied to: Schedule utilization Reactivation and recall effectiveness Collections and case acceptance support
