Smiles for Kids Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a full time dental hygienist. In our pediatric dental practice, our employees must be energetic, positive and professional individuals with exceptional skills. Our practice is fee for service only, we are located in Memorial area of Houston, and we do not accept Medicaid. QUALIFICATIONS *Associate or bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from an accredited program *Current state dental hygienist license, X-ray/radiography certification, and Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR certification. *Proficiency in dental prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and applying sealants/fluoride. *OSHA/HIPAA certificate *Enjoy working with children *Strong work ethic *Highest level of professionalism *Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills *Firm commitment to caring for our patients *Detail oriented and able to multi-task *Coronal polishing, sealant, and radiology certifications *Experience with digital dental software (e.g., Curve) HOURS: *Monday flexible hours with no patients except for school holidays (we see patients 8-5pm during those), Tues/Wed/Thurs 8-5:00 pm, Fri 8-4:00 pm *There will be an occasional Monday where we work so you must be available 5 days a week. Schedule is created 6 months in advance with occasional changes. PAY: *Negotiable and will be discussed in person upon working interview.
