We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Dental Assistant to support our dental team in delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will assist dentists during procedures, prepare treatment rooms, ensure proper sterilization of instruments, and help create a comfortable experience for patients. Key Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures and examinations - Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Prepare treatment rooms and ensure cleanliness and organization - Take and record patient medical histories and vital information - Expose and process dental X-rays - Schedule appointments and manage patient records when needed - Maintain inventory of dental supplies and place orders when necessary - Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required - Dental Assistant certification or relevant training preferred - X-ray certification - Knowledge of dental instruments and procedures - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment - Basic computer and record-keeping skills Preferred Skills: - Experience with dental practice manager OpenDental - Excellent organizational skills - Friendly and patient-focused attitude - Ability to work well in a team environment
