We’re a friendly, patient-focused specialty practice dedicated to helping people with orofacial pain and TMJ disorders live more comfortably. As a startup practice with five treatment rooms, we’re building something special from the ground up — a place where patients feel cared for and team members feel valued, supported, and proud of the work they do. Position Overview: We’re seeking an experienced and positive, team-oriented Front Office who can help us grow — someone who loves working closely with patients, enjoys creating systems and wants to be a true partner in shaping a new practice. The right candidate is dependable, organized, and collaborative—someone comfortable working in a small, fast-paced specialty setting. This role also offers growth opportunities and performance-based incentives as the practice expands. Strong leadership skills, a stable job history, and a willingness to cross-train in both the front and back office are highly valued. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with the owner doctor to develop and refine office systems, policies, and protocols. - Oversee front office operations including scheduling, patient intake, and communication. - Coordinate with a third-party billing company for efficient billing, insurance verification, and collections. - Support and participate in local ground marketing and community outreach to help grow the practice. - Promote teamwork by assisting with or cross-training in back office functions as needed. - Lead with positivity—fostering accountability, collaboration, and excellent patient service. - Maintain organized systems and daily workflows that support both administrative and clinical operations. Qualifications: - Minimum 3 years of dental or medical front office experience (specialty or multi-provider experience preferred). - Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining office policies. - Proven leadership and team-building abilities with a cooperative, hands-on approach. - Experience implementing or improving office systems and processes. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills for both patient and staff interactions. - Understanding of billing and insurance coordination; ability to work with outside billing vendors. - Willingness to learn and assist in limited back office functions when needed. - Organized, proactive, and adaptable in a startup environment.
